Auto Hot Key Scripts

    We have some auto hot key scripts available for download to help players fix some client side issues while in game. To run these scripts you will need to download autohotkey at and you will need 7z from to extract the files. What these files are for:

  • esc_click.ahk - allows you to hold down the escape key to left click repeatedly, this allows you to purchase items quickly from vendors.
  • left_mouse_block_drag.ahk - this blocks mouse drag effects when you left click normally. What this does is it prevents the UO client from registering a small mouse movement as a drag effect instead of a click effect, which will cause ground targets or other world targets to fail to register making it seem like the spell was clicked on something invalid. When running this script you will need to hold down the shift key to move healthbars and gumps around in game. This script will help players to more effectively target spells during frantic situations such as PvP battles or when fighting more dangerous monsters.
  • ctrl_left_mouse_block_drag.ahk - the same as above except you need to hold down ctrl for this work. This way, you can use this on demand and don't have hold down shift to move healthbars and gumps around in game.

Server Goals:

     The primary goal for development of this server is to provide players a modernized version of Ultima Online that breathes fresh life into the game by adding tons of quality of life features and modernized gamification techniques, without sacrificing the PvP aspects of the game. We want to bring Ultima Online Free Shards into a new age of development where players can expect to find numerous fun in game events constantly in motion, deep progression systems, engaging and competitive PvP combat, leaderboards to compete on for rewards and fun, and we want to achieve all of this while preserving much of the nostalgia from the original Ultima Online world that we grew up with.

    We want to ensure that we maintain the feel of the original Ultima Online world, prior to any of the expansions, but at the same time we want to open up new doors for players to explore that will be unique to the Singularity - UO free shard. When you first log in, you'll find yourself in a very familiar world and most of the builds you know and love will be possible to achieve here. At the same time however, we will be working to add new and interesting ways to play game by bringing the quality of underperforming builds up, and in some cases by creating entirely new builds that you won't find on other servers.

    Last, when it comes to PvP we have very high standards for the type of system that we would like to evolve here at UO Singularity. First and foremost we want to move the gameplay in a more skill oriented direction, where game knowledge and mechanical ability are the most determining factors in your success, and gear is second to that. Also, we want to ensure that all PvP content has proper Elo calcultions built into it, so players can enjoy progression and compete for top ladder positions. For this reason, you should expect to find many forms of competitive PvP here that we will be growing over time.

Continued Development

    After months of dev work we have released our game changing Mastery System as well as PvP Tournaments, Seasons and Rewards Systems. These system have taken quite some time to bring online but have been very well received so far. If you are a player who wants competitive PvP that is very challenging and a solid reward system and ladder to compete on then UO Singularity is certainly the place to be!

    Next up in our development pipeline is to begin working on improving and expanding our end game dungeons available for players, and possibly adding more progression layers to this content!

PvP Tournament Schedule:

    Below is where we will keep players updated with the daily PvP tournament schedule and other in game events. Check back here to make sure the timeslots haven't changed. If the timeslots below don't work out well for your schedule, please talk to an admin about making some time slot adjustments. These dates are not hardset and we want to make sure everyone has a chance to join in. Check out information on rewards here.

    Upcoming Event: 2021 - End of Season 2v2 Tournament - June 26th @7PM Central Time - details for rewards and format will be updated at a later point in time. To sign up for this tournament you will need to send me the players that are a part of your 2v2 team, matches will have a blind draft where players can change composition after each round. If you need a teammate for the tournament, feel free to ask in the pvp channel in discord. Due to the fact that I (JarJarIsASith) will need to orchestrate things and deal with issues, I might not be able to participate, but if I can get things setup and automated properly beforehand I might join in as well if someone needs a partner last minute.

(All times are in US Central Time and they last 2 hours except for Saturday which lasts 4 hours)

Custom Features:

  1. Auto loot system that converts monster drops into "Dungeon Coins" which can later be traded for randomly generated items.
  2. Weekly and Monthly chests containing powerful end game weapons can be earned from killing Bosses and competing in rated PvP.
  3. 11 Classes to choose from, each with their own individual flavor for combat and all competitive for end game situations.
  4. Class masteries adding 6 unique abilities to each class with cooldown bars for tracking.
  5. PvP Battlegrounds with rewards systems that can allow players to focus almost entirely on PvP.
  6. Stats normalized while in PvP battlegrounds to ensure fair fights with undergeared players (doesn't apply to weapon procs).
  7. End game dungeon: ICE, where the entire server works together to clear difficult dungeons and fight a variety of bosses for end game gear, deco and progression rewards.
  8. Fast skill gains while in Felucca Dungeons for combat skills and everywhere for non-combat skills.

More Features

  1. Fast stat gains everywhere, lumberjacking and mining stat gains are extra fast.
  2. Fast travel through moongates to all of the primary Felucca dungeons.
  3. Trammel world with Felucca dungeons, murderers can enter towns in Trammel.
  4. Class systems implemented to help allow play style variety and bring balance to non-Tamer arch types.
  5. Murderers cannot recall out of dungeons.
  6. Murderers can have classes but lose their class and mastery functionality on death for 2 hours as a penalty (account wide).
  7. Murderers will not be sent to Felucca, the only open world is Trammel and it's for everyone.
  8. Paragon Storm event that dramatically increases the number of Paragons in dungeons for 1 hour.
  9. Custom housing with plot sizes up to 32x32 available.
  10. Custom currency systems in place as rewards for various activities.
  11. Custom currencies can be held accountwide in the bank and checks can be made out as well for these currencies.
  12. Randomly rotating daily double dungeons with increased drop rates and improved skill gains (for players and pets).
  13. The Virtue System has been revamped into a separate currency and the virtue set has been significantly improved.
  14. Special Paragon weapon system where any Paragon weapon can roll as a different weapon with unique stats and random chances to upgrade.
  15. Slayer types have been reduced to super slayers only: Undead Slayer, Repond Slayer, Demonic Slayer, Elemental Slayer, Arachnid Slayer and Reptilian Slayer.
  16. 7x GM skill caps but each GM skill can be raised to 120.0 for a final skill total of 840.0 (skills beyond 100.0 don't count towards the 700.0 cap).
  17. Powerscrolls are available as vendor purchases, this is to prevent players from hoarding scrolls and driving up prices, and to ensure availability.
  18. Continuous balance of PvP as well as end game builds available within world.
  19. Clean up Britannia system is active and there are trashcans located near vendors and available as deco items.
  20. Characters are limited to human only but Elven and Gargish hues can be used.
  21. Female and Male characters have no gender restrictions on armor they can use.
  22. Fast spawn rates in dungeons, spawn rate increases based on players present in a dungeon and speed of clearing enemies in a given area.
  23. Improved rewards for players working together as a group while farming in dungeons, total loot dropped increases base on number of kill participants, exp is not divided based on group size.
  24. Removal of the following skills from the game: chivalry, necromancy, spellweaving, focus, ninjitsu, bushido, mysticism, imbuing and throwing.
  25. Using modern item generation, stats, and resistances, to allow players to take control of their itemization.
  26. Total stat cap of 225 with 100 max per stat and up to 125 with item bonuses.
  27. Paragon spawns have lowered difficulty and will not drop artifacts on low tier mobs.
  28. Greater spawns have been added for higher difficulty units, these are similar to Paragons and drop Paragon chests at a lower rate, also these can combine to create an extra rare Greater Paragon spawn which comes with a heavily increased chest drop chance.
  29. Special Paragon Maps can drop off of any map found on a Paragon monster with a 5% chance, these maps spawn paragon defenders and have improved rewards.
  30. Blade spirits will not attack innocent targets causing players to be flagged as criminals erroneously, but will attack murderers and criminals.
  31. Rare mount system that allows players to hunt rare spawn mounts and all players have a chance to win a Paragon hued mount when slaying these rare spawns.
  32. Exotic weapons system that allows players to hunt honesty items in the open world and convert them into powerful weapons that are difficult to come by.
  33. Mage AI improvements preventing spell spam of cure and dispell on failures.
  34. Animal Taming is available with only slight alteration of the underlying mechanics and pet training is available.
  35. Daily Coins earned from killing Paragons and chess puzzles on
  36. integration that allows players to continue earning loot by solving chess puzzles, allowing players to continue playing even on a mobile phone (Command: '[chess').

Quality of Life Improvements:

  1. Dungeon Coins to reduce looting strains (Toggleable with command: '[dc' or in the custom profile menu).
  2. Recall and Mark spells require no skill to cast and require no reagents.
  3. Various item enhancements can be purchased from vendors to do things like remove curse / brittle / antique, add more resists, add slayers, or even convert weapons into spellbooks!
  4. 100.0 skill level Repair Deeds of all types available for purchase from special in game vendors.
  5. Pet Bonding Deeds available from special in game currencies or through donation coins.

More Improvements

  1. Runebooks do not require charges.
  2. Drops will be consolidated into color coded bags.
  3. Treasure Maps are decodable by all, Cartography skill increases loot found in treasure map chests.
  4. Treasure Maps are recallable and will take you straight to the loot location, blocked locations will allow recall to adjacent squares.
  5. Treasure Map chests are removable and can spawn in special deco colors for use in houses.
  6. Treasure Map chests will automatically unlock after killing the spawned guardians.
  7. If a treasure map drops the bag will be colored white.
  8. If a legendary artifact drops the bag will be colored gold.
  9. If a slayer item drops the bag will be colored green.
  10. If a lesser artifact or higher drops the bag will be colored red.
  11. Hitching Posts can be used to shrink in game mounts.
  12. Quiver of Infinity supports both bolts and arrows simultaneously and has 100% lowered ammo cost.

In Game Currencies:

  1. Dungeon Coins
    These coins come in two forms 'Lesser' and 'Greater', and they can be toggled to drop in place of regular loot with the "[dc" command. Lesser Dungeon Coins will drop from weaker mobs and more powerful mobs will drop Greater Dungeon Coins. They are designed to reduce the amount of looting needed in dungeons and will translate all monster generated items into these currencies which can be used to purchase bags filled with auto generated items. Gold will still drop as normal but both Gold and Dungeon Coins will be split evenly amongst the players who were involved in the kill automatically. There is also a party boost to drop amounts that is designed to encourage players to group while farming. Playing multiple accounts at the same time to exploit this system is strictly forbidden and a bannable offense.
  2. Virtue Coins
    Whenever a virtue reward would normally be earned, instead a player will directly recieve Virtue Coins in their backpack, these coins can be used to buy powerful end game self repairing blessed armor. This armor is often used during the early progress for many characters, then as players progress and begin earning singularity points to purchase glyphs, they move over to items earned through dungeon packs to begin creating powerful end game gear sets.

More Currencies

  1. Daily Coins
    These coins are similar to Dungeon Coins in terms of what you can purchase with them, however, they are different in how they are earned and for some of the rewards. By slaying Paragon Monsters a player can earn up to 2000 of these coins per day plus 2000 more for each VIP level (see donations for info) up to VIP level 9 at 20000 per day. These coins can also be earned by linking your in game account to your account which has a separate daily limit and also benefits from your VIP level in a similar manner. See the list of in game commands below for further details on how to set all this up.
  2. Singularity Points
    These points are earned by clearing the end game dungeon ICE. Each week a player can clear ICE three times for 100 singularity points. After that, more clears will gain 2 points each clear. These points can be used to enhance armor and weapons through glyphs, for continued end game progression of characters.
  3. Voting Points
    Voting for the Singularity - UO free shard on a variety of websites will earn your character voting points that can be used to purchase ethereal mounts and other useful in game items. These voting stones can be found in Britain near the central town moongate and starting inn.

Useful In Game Commands:

  1. "[help" this command gets you a full list of available commands.
  2. "[chess <APIAccessToken>" this command will allow you to link your account to a account to begin earning in game chess puzzle rewards as Daily Coins, you can create an API Access Token here.
  3. "[claim" this command will allow you to claim all unclaimed rewards from your puzzle activity, remember that only the last 30 puzzles will be reviewed.
  4. "[ps" will provide players information on the Paragon Storm event.
  5. "[dc" will allow players to target the Dungeon Coins system on or off, this system is designed to allow easier group play and reduce the micro involved with looting corpses while farming.
  6. "[findarmor" and "[findweapons" will allow players to search through their bags for armor pieces with specific enhancements they would like. This will allow players to use their greater dungeon coins to buy / create large numbers of random items then search through those items to find upgrades. An example command would be: "[findarmor spelldamage defend hits 2", which would search for armor with at least two of the properties listed: Spell Damage Increase, Defend Chance, and Hit Points.
